Role Overview:
We are in search of a creative and enthusiastic Jewellery Designer to be part of our team. As a Jewellery Designer with us, you will collaborate closely with clients to bring their ideas to life, creating personalized and one-of-a-kind jewelry pieces. Join a team committed to producing outstanding designs that mirror our clients' individuality and stories.
Responsibilities:
- Discussing design ideas and requests with clients, and developing concepts based on their requirements.
- Producing sketches and technical drawings of various jewelry pieces, like rings, necklaces, and earrings, blending creativity with knowledge of materials and aesthetic principles.
- Keeping abreast of current fashion trends, market needs, and historical jewelry styles, researching materials and gemstones for design guidance.
- Selecting suitable metals, gemstones, and materials for jewelry pieces considering design specifications, costs, and quality.
- Collaborating with gemmologists and metalworkers to execute designs, liaising with marketing teams to understand client preferences.
- Creating physical prototypes or 3D models to refine designs prior to production.
- Providing guidance to ensure the final product matches the initial design, overseeing manufacturing including quality checks and adjustments.
- Forecasting and interpreting fashion and jewelry trends to inspire new designs.
- Maintaining the brand's design essence and contributing to a unique brand identity through innovative designs.
Requirements:
- Demonstrated expertise in jewelry design and craftsmanship.
- Proficiency in design software and tools.
- Thorough knowledge of materials, gemstones, and production processes.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- An eye for detail and a love for personalized design.
