Grid Connection Engineer

Responsibilities:
Lead and manage grid connection projects for solar farms, battery energy storage systems (BESS), and wind projects.
Oversee the design, construction, and commissioning of high-voltage substations.
Facilitate generator connection, registration, and commissioning in compliance with Australian and New Zealand market requirements.
Utilize power system modeling tools (e.g., PSS/E, PSCAD, Power Factory) for project analysis and planning.
Conduct harmonic calculations and contribute to harmonic filter design and operation.
Have hands-on knowledge of the grid connection application process and working relationships with AEMO and NSPs.

Requirements:
Experience in leading and managing grid connection projects.
Familiarity with power system modeling tools.
Knowledge of Australian and New Zealand market requirements.
Ability to conduct harmonic calculations and contribute to filter design.
Strong communication and relationship-building skills.


Work on some of the largest renewables projects in Australia and New Zealand with a well-established leader in the energy industry.
