Senior Manager, Audit & Assurance Services

The Role

Working in a supportive team, you will have the opportunity to experience an extensive range of different industries and to work closely with some of South Australia's iconic businesses.

Key Responsibilities

  • Overall responsibility for a portfolio of the firm's audit clients including:
    • Developing and maintaining relationships with key clients
    • Overseeing the planning and execution of audit work
    • Preparation of deliverables including audit closing reports
  • Review work of audit team members to ensure compliance with the overall methodology and auditing standards
  • Provide leadership to the audit team in all aspects of day-to-day operations, including on-the-job feedback and client-specific training
  • Attendance at Committee and Board meetings as required to present audit findings
  • Monitor the completion of audit work, ensuring that it remains within both time and budgetary constraints
  • Liaise with other service lines such as Tax and Corporate Finance on mutual clients

Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a similar discipline
  • CA (preferred) / CPA qualified
  • Demonstrated 3+ years management experience
  • Proficiency in using Caseware audit software is desirable but not essential
  • High level verbal and written communication, with the ability to correspond clearly and effectively, and present ideas logically
