The Role
The Deputy Director - Program and Business Support will be accountable to the Director, Program Support Office for:

The management of business processes, including the development of procedures and updates to the Business Management System Performing complex procedural, operational, financial and administrative activities to support the delivery of outcomes Undertaking procurement functions including planning, tendering and contract management Contract administration including monitoring performance and risks Providing support in core areas such as records management coordination, security, workforce planning and other administrative functions as directed About our Team
You will be part of Joint Logistics Command (JLC) Logistics Capability Branch. The Branch is integral to JLC's mission of enabling Australian Defence Force (ADF) operations and readiness through effective and efficient logistics. Logistics Capability Branch sponsors and manages logistics capability development, delivery and integration through the One Defence Capability System.

The Branch is accelerated the development of Theatre Logistics capability in response to the National Defence Strategy and Integrated Investment Program.

As the Deputy Director - Program and Business Support, you will plan, manage and deliver high quality program coordination, business support and administration outcomes as part of an integrated team delivering a critical capability for Defence.

Demonstrated leadership experience, particularly in complex and ambiguous environments Demonstrated experience in providing administrative and business support functions in a high tempo environment The ability to work independently with minimal supervision Demonstrated experience in procurement and contract management activities whilst ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and the CPRs Highly developed written communication skills, with desired experience writing Senior Leadership briefs and papers
