Qualifications & experience

  • Previous experience in an OSHC or childcare centre is desirable.
  • Or working within a school setting/ studying a relatable course ie teaching.
  • Experience supervising within a childcare environment.
  • Hold (or have the ability to attain) a current Working with Children Check
  • Hold (or be prepared to attain) a current
First Aid Certificate: 00- Willingness to learn and incorporate the Steiner Philosophy.

  • An understanding of the NQF.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Tasks & responsibilities

  • Actively supervising school aged children
  • Deliver planned and spontaneous activities based on the children's interests and your strengths
  • Ensuring equipment is used in a safe manner
- food preparation
- light cleaning duties
- participate in observations and essential paper work.

Salary:
$ $30.00 per hour

  • Afternoon shift
