Purpose of role

The workforce consultant is responsible for the managing the promotion, on-boarding, and development of all field contract opportunities in the BSA Communications and Utility Infrastructure division.

The workforce consultant works alongside a range of internal and external suppliers and clients to ensure timely provision of resources into the field for our blue-chip client base.


The purpose of this role is to deliver field ready contractors to the BSA Field Operation in a timely manner.

This includes keeping a resource pipeline, organising inductions and training activities and stimulating action from other BSA departments to ensure contractors are delivered in accordance with resource targets.


Responsibilities:

  • Collation of Expressions of Interest of prospective contractors into the resource pipeline
  • Ensure prospective field resources are delivered through the pipeline to meet forward estimates of BSA and clients
  • Application processes are followed for all external accreditations that require BSA or client sign off
  • Timely reporting and updates regarding the progress of promotion and onboarding activities for new contractors
  • Preparation and distribution of welcome packs to new contractors
  • Placement of EOI adverts into relevant channels
  • Provide guidance to new contractors to support them in their onboarding
  • Uphold the BSA Values and Behaviours
  • Take reasonable care to prevent injuries to self and others

Qualities and skills you will need:

  • High attention to detail
  • Intermediate level computer skills (Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Welldeveloped verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience in client or supplier facing roles
  • Ability to manage your workload prioritising and multitasking like a champion
  • Excellent approach to problem solving
  • Experience working to deadlines
