About the team:

The global mobility team sit within the broader Group People Services team and have the responsibility of coordinating and tracking international assignments, permanent transfers and international working from home cases across our global offices

We are the advisors to the Business, Human Resources and Talent Acquisition regarding the implications, considerations and costs of international assignments and permanent transfers

We monitor and manage the Group's immigration and tax compliance in our key locations for our mobile populations

The global mobility team is an exciting and dynamic team with no two days or cases being the same. This variety makes every day interesting and positively challenging

**About the role:
**Roles and Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: - Support with the set-up, administration and tracking of the Group's globally mobile population with a focus on international working from home cases

  • Support the business, employees and Talent Acquisition with questions, policy guidance and initiations relating to Australian sponsored visas and permanent residency. This will also include overseeing the Group's compliance with sponsored Australian visas.
  • End to end responsibility for the review, tracking and approval of vendor invoices and working with finance to cross charge costs to the specific business units
  • Providing support with the execution of projects including remuneration review, FBT compliance and global tax return compliance
  • Manage the Group's trust account managing payments to tax authorities, employees and allocating payments and credits to business units

Working in the broader Group People Services team, it brings specialist functions such as payroll, HR Direct, workplace relations, industrial relations together in one team to deliver streamlined and service excellence to our stakeholders.

Key requirements:

  • Up to two years prior experience in global mobility
  • Deep Microsoft Office Suite experience
  • Attention to detail and an awareness of quality control, risk, and compliance issues
This is a 12 month secondment / maximum term contract opportunity located in Sydney.
