Cyber Culture & Outreach Analyst | NSW- Sydney CBD


As the Cyber Culture & Outreach Analyst, you'll enable Allianz Australia to operate with confidence in the effectiveness of its security culture and enhance trust in the Allianz brand.

This role fosters a security culture by developing and providing effective cyber security training resources and reporting services, and raising awareness of cybersecurity within the business.


You'll be developing cyber education materials and programs, taking into consideration the needs of the business, along with the latest developments in technology that impact on the sector.

You'll also support and shape how reporting is coordinated and delivered to the business articulating business opportunities, risk and resilience objectives and overall cyber security effectiveness.


Your responsibilities- Contributing to Cyber Protection and Resilience process, artefact uplift and support in analytics and reporting.- Working closely with the Cyber Protection & Resilience team to provide support delivering communications and outreach across the business.- Managing actions and responses to related audit findings, incident processes and compliance procedures.- Supporting & facilitating team activities, security culture and team training initiatives.- Collaborating with our Global community, liaising effectively with Allianz IT and Security Operation teams and contribute towards delivering our Cyber Strategy.- Assisting in maturing the knowledge of cyber policies, standards and procedures owned by the team and helping to embed these across the organisation.- Assisting in the development and delivery of a comprehensive Cyberecurity Awareness and Training program & delivery of the customer and community awareness program to enhance trust in the Allianz brand.- Developing, facilitating and reporting on the our phishing simulation program.

You should demonstrate:

  • Previous experience as a Cybersecurity Analyst, Cybersecurity Reporting Analyst or similar.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of communicating with clarity, impact and influence for a wide range of technical and nontechnical audiences.
  • Analytical and critical thinking capability to interpret a range of data, identify patterns, trends and links that inform judgements and solutions.
  • Knowledge and understanding of cybersecurity best practices and standards.
  • Selfstarter, with the ability to plan and prioritise effectively, organise tasks and manage competing resources and demands.
  • Demonstrated ability to partner and collaborate effectively with stakeholders to establish strong professional relationships and influence outcomes.
  • Analytical and critical thinking capability to interpret a range of data, identify patterns, trends and links that inform judgements and solutions.
  • Ability to interpret and analyse complex information, extract meaningful insights and evaluate options for decision making.
  • Outcome and customer focused with highly developed 'first principles' problemsolving skills, combined with a curious and creative mindset.
  • Ability to conduct research and create content, for a variety of communications channels such as print, digital, online and social media.
  • Understanding of methods for gathering and analysing stakeholder feedback on content and campaigns, including collating and interpreting weekly data analytics for multiple reporting.
