Position Overview:

About the role:

  • Receive incoming shipments, verify contents, and accurately record receipts in our inventory system.
  • Organise and store incoming inventory in designated locations within the warehouse, ensuring proper labeling and organisation for easy retrieval.
  • Assist with inventory management tasks, including cycle counting, stock rotation, and maintaining accurate inventory records.
  • Pick and pack orders accurately and efficiently according to customer requirements and shipping guidelines.
  • Prepare orders for shipment, including packaging, labelling, and coordinating with shipping carriers to ensure timely delivery.
  • Maintain a clean and organised warehouse environment, including sweeping, organizing shelves, and disposing of packaging materials.
  • Assist with general warehouse duties, such as loading and unloading trucks, moving inventory between locations, and performing inventory audits.
  • Follow safety protocols and procedures at all times to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues.

About you:

  • Previous experience working in a warehouse or similar environment is preferred but not required.
  • Ability to lift and move heavy objects, bend, stoop, and stand for extended periods.
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.
  • Basic computer skills and the ability to learn and use inventory management software.
  • Commitment to safety and adherence to all safety regulations and procedures.
