  • The purpose of the role is to provide technical analysis and advice relating to wagering and form, including through exercising relevant regulatory powers, to ensure the integrity of racing across all codes (thoroughbred, harness and greyhounds) in Tasmania is maintained.

Hours per fortnight:

45 hours and 60 minutes (0.6FTE).

Period of Appointment:

For 12 months.

Duties:


The purpose of the role is to provide technical analysis and advice relating to wagering and form, including through exercising relevant regulatory powers, to ensure the integrity of racing across all codes (thoroughbred, harness and greyhounds) in Tasmania is maintained.


Essential Requirements:

  • The person nominated for this role is to satisfy a preemployment check before taking up the appointment.

The following check is to be conducted:

Conviction check in the following conviction areas:

  • Crimes involving dishonesty including illegal betting or gambling;
  • Serious traffic offences; and
  • Crimes of violence.

Desirable Requirements:

  • A current motor vehicle driver's licence.
  • Qualifications relevant to the nature of the work to be undertaken, as provided by either a university, a vocational education organisation or a registered and accredited training provider, and/or equivalent experience.
