ABOUT THE ROLE


The Plant and Equipment Manager is responsible for leading, managing, guiding and continually improving TAFE NSW fixed assets (portable plant and equipment and mobile training units) operations and "whole of life" services providing outstanding customer service, compliance, innovation and optimal value across all regional learning locations.


You have extensive experience leading and improving asset management services (planning, acquire, transfer, disposal, stocktake and audit processes) in a computerised environment such as SAP, Oracle.


You are a strong communicator and collaborator and establish strong working relationships with stakeholders to ensure efficiency in communications and workflows that support business operations and reporting requirements including accurate data to acquire, purchase and dispose of Plant and Equipment.

You champion knowledge sharing to advance your team's understanding and skills and proactively identify opportunities for improvement such as radio frequency identification (RFID) asset tagging, in the face of competing operational priorities.

In addition, you will have the following:

  • Degree qualification in related field or equivalent significant experience.
