About the role

Located at Mercy Care's Wembley campus with plenty of parking, a mix of heritage buildings and modern retirement facilities overlooking the beautiful Lake Monger, you will be responsible for the overall management of Mercy Care's retirement village.

This includes financial management, staff and contractor management and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.

As the key point of contact, you will develop and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders, most importantly current and prospective residents.

You will work closely with the Operations Manager to achieve and maintain accreditation with the Australian Retirement Village Accreditation Scheme.

This role also works closely with the appointed sales agent to ensure high quality refurbishments are completed and resale targets are met.

About you
In addition to being a great interpersonal person, you will have:

• Proven experience in operations management, ideally in a village or aged care setting.
• A Diploma or similar in village management (required).
• Working knowledge of the Retirement Villages Act (or willingness to quickly ascertain) and other relevant regulations and standards, including a commitment to health and safety.
• Strong financial management skills with experience in budgeting, budget management, forecasting and reporting.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail and the ability to work autonomously.
• The ability to resolve conflict whilst building strong relationships.
• Evidence of Covid and Influenza Vaccination desirable
• National Police Clearance (obtained within the last 6 months)
