Guma-Warnii Resources offers an exciting position within our client's Sustaining Capital Project Services team, overseeing the Primavera P6 Integrated Schedule to execute our Tier One client's ten-year plan. This role involves collaborating closely with stakeholders and contributing to effective project planning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing the Primavera P6 Integrated Schedule to deliver the RTIO medium-term plan.
  • Preparing schedule update requests and ensuring accurate representation of project dependencies.
  • Collecting and organizing schedule data from various sources such as MS Project, P6, Excel, Power BI, and Powerpoint.
  • Ingesting and aligning schedule information in P6 for publication.
  • Reporting schedule details, including critical paths, to stakeholders.
  • Running impact assessment scenarios and addressing requested schedule changes.
  • Engaging with stakeholders to maintain schedule accuracy and proactively addressing concerns.
Key accountabilities:
  • Developing and managing an Integrated Schedule for the RTIO medium-term plan.
  • Identifying and mitigating schedule risks that could impede project delivery.
  • Participating in schedule review meetings and ensuring schedule integrity.
  • Supporting the generation of reports with professional analysis and deviations from the baseline plan.
  • Ensuring compliance with established processes, systems, and tools.
  • Fostering relationships with planning stakeholders and offering technical support.
Qualifications and skills required:
  • Proficiency in Primavera P6 project management software.
  • Relevant site construction experience and certification from a recognized professional body.
  • Professional certification or a clear path towards it in project management.
  • 5+ years of experience in project controls delivery and overall professional experience, preferably in mining or large-scale studies.
