Carpentry Apprentice

JD Constructions (WA) has an opportunity for an apprentice carpenter to join the team whether you are first year, second year or nearly qualified.

We are a small family run company who cares for their employees and only wants the best for all of us.

We carry out multiple aspects of carpentry including roofing, wall framing, renovations, extensions and external cladding and decking. We work all over Perth, NOR & SOR, transportation is important. When the work is outside of the Perth region, travel allowances will be made.

This is an outstanding opportunity to join a small supportive crew and learn from experienced carpenters in a supportive environment.

To be successful you will need to have the following:

• Ability to undertake physically demanding work
• A drivers licence and transport
• Be reliable and punctual
• Very keen to learn
• Have a basic knowledge of hand tools
• Commitment and enthusiasm with a genuine interest in carpentry
• Ability to get to and from work independently

Preferred but not essential:

• A white card
• Completed a preapprenticeship
• Own tools (nail belt, tape and hammer)
