HammondCare Woy Woy is currently seeking 3 Casual Carers to join its team.

Our Cottage style homes offer low and high care for residents with Dementia. As a Carer, you'll be responsible for managing the cottage as a cozy home, which includes:

  • Personal care – such as showering, grooming, toileting, and dressing
  • Domestic assistance - like cooking, cleaning, and laundry
  • Engaging with residents to ensure they participate in activities they enjoy
  • Recognizing, reporting, and responding appropriately to changes in residents' conditions within your expertise

All new team members will undergo onsite orientation with a Workplace Trainer, have buddy shifts, and receive support from experienced Registered Nurses and Managers.

Applicants must be available for PM and weekend shifts.

To excel in this position, you should:

  • Have a sincere dedication to serving the elderly and making a positive impact on their lives
  • Be adaptable and willing to work various shifts, including nights and weekends
  • Value teamwork while also being capable of working independently and showing initiative
  • Possess knowledge and experience in caring for individuals with Dementia and their specific needs
  • Demonstrate a friendly, person-centered, and patient demeanor
