Your Opportunity

As the Dispensary Team Leader, you will be responsible for managing the dispensary team, providing training and development opportunities, conducting performance reviews, and overseeing rostering. Moreover, you'll play a critical role in our project management team as we implement a new system to revolutionize our dispensary processes.

All the training will be provided to ensure that you have the knowledge and skills necessary to excel in your role and contribute effectively to the team's success

The suitable candidate will be responsible for, but not limited to:

Dispensary Management

  • Serve as the primary contact for team members and other departments when they need to engage with the dispensary team, ensuring clear communication and prompt resolution of inquiries.
  • Lead, motivate, and manage the dispensary team to ensure optimal performance and high levels of customer service.
  • Monitor and manage the flow of operations within the dispensary room to ensure smooth and efficient processes.
  • Develop and deliver training programs to enhance team members' skills and knowledge, ensuring they are equipped to meet operational standards.
  • Assign tasks effectively to team members based on their skills and workload to maintain a balanced and productive work environment.
  • Oversee the scheduling and rostering of team members to ensure adequate coverage and efficient operation of the dispensary.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews, provide constructive feedback, and develop action plans to support continuous improvement.

Project Management

  • Collaborate with the project management team to facilitate the implementation of a new system aimed at improving dispensary processes. Ensure smooth integration and minimal disruption to daily operations.
  • Identify opportunities for process enhancements and contribute to the development of strategies to improve efficiency and effectiveness.

What You Will Bring to Our Team

  • A passionate to help animals is a must.
  • Experience in a leadership role within a dispensary or similar environment is highly desirable.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Experience in the Veterinary industry is highly desirable.
  • Prior experience in Pharmacy is highly desirable.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Possess excellent communication skills.
  • Strong organizational, time management and problem-solving skills.
  • Project management experience is an advantage.
  • Ability to adapt to and drive change in a dynamic environment.
