Are you interested in Australian made and designed furniture? Are you creative, and take pride in your work? Do you have experience in polishing furniture with spray guns and by hand? Sanding and staining timber ready for lacquer work? Do you want to learn other aspects of furniture making, or perhaps you already have the experience?

We are Artifex Australia, a leading Australian manufacturer of residential and commercial furniture. We are strictly wholesale and have been distributing our designs across Australia for over 40 years.

We are one of only a few Australian manufacturers that do everything in house, from cutting foam to making bespoke metal frames, unique timber furniture, with quality upholstery finishes.


We currently have a great team of over 20 staff, and are now looking for another team member in production working as timber polisher and general furniture maker.


Based in Kelmscott Western Australia, we are seeking the services of a person who will take pride in our furniture pieces and designs, who has some experience in furniture polishing, and willing to learn other aspects of furniture making.

Must take pride in their work and willing to learn the way we manufacture our furniture for a long term rewarding career.

A passion for furniture is desirable.

  • We will offer a competitive rate based on your experience and abilities.
  • Permanent position after a trial/probation period of 3 months.
  • 38hr work week, Mon-Thur 8hrs, Fri 6hrs with potential over time.
  • Tools and equipment supplied.
  • Parking Onsite.
