The Role You Could Play

As the Supply Chain Commercial Analyst you will be based on site at our buzzing Distribution Centre at Melbourne Airport, charged with the development and ongoing optimisation of all key data related to the running of the DC operations, including financial performance tracking, KPI production and monitoring, as well as providing key insights for the running of key projects/ initiatives. You will provide analysis, insights and recommendations to the Supply Chain Leadership team to drive business performance, improvements and commercial outcomes.

This will include providing high quality financial reporting and analysis to the Supply Chain team, engaging with department stakeholders to provide financial insights, reviewing department & project performance, and leveraging insights to influence commercial outcomes that will maximise company returns. Working closely with the Supply Chain Leadership team, this role is critical to the commercial success of the Supply Chain function.

What You Will Bring

You will be highly commercial, with a strong understanding of business practices beyond pure accounting. You will have experience preferably in Supply Chain, FMCG, retail or wholesale, supply chain domain expertise would be highly regarded along with the with the ability to interpret and understand contractual financial obligations within supplier contracts. You will also have excellent analytical skills with ability to turn data into insights.

You will also need to have advanced skills in:

  • MS Excel (VBA)
  • SQL
  • Tableau and
  • financial modelling

Your outstanding attention to detail and data-driven, analytical mindset will be key to success in this role. This highly collaborative role will require excellent stakeholder management skills and the ability to influence outcomes.
