You are continually proactive in seeking ways to simplify processes and reduce unnecessary negative costs to the business.You don't shy away from difficult customers or co-workers and actively employ a leadership & management style to reach the best solutions.
Experience in performance management is highly valued in this role.You are also available to work across the store opening hours, including some late nights and every other weekend.
Responsibilities:
As a Customer Team Leader, your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- Ensuring customers are always in focus and striving to make them smile, by showing empathy and care.
- Coaching and developing coworkers on the job and leading by example so they are always ready to meet the needs of our customers and grow professionally.
- Providing customers with a pleasant postshopping experience through ensuring smooth and seamless processes are in practice.
- Listening to our customers, supporting them with an attitude based on IKEA's values and always aiming to be an ambassador for the store.
- Ensuring coworkers are actively supported in their daily work and you actively develop, coach and mentor your team through set reviews.
- Supervising and actively supporting your team to ensure daily operations are secured to ensure a positive customer journey.
Together the Customer team is to continually identify and remove hindrances in order to secure an easy buying experience, a positive shopping experience and easy payment and after-sales fulfilment.
