Your Role:

We are on the lookout for a detail-oriented and proactive finance professional to join us as a Property Business Analyst and play a vital role in an exciting portfolio.

Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will oversee a national portfolio of retail, commercial, and industrial properties. Your primary tasks will include lease reporting and analysis across the portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare consolidated reports with variance commentary on aspects like NOI, CAPEX, Debtors, RM3, and Insurance incidents
  • Enhance outgoing recoveries by tenant, tenant type, and asset
  • Track percentage rent performance and opportunities within the portfolio
  • Analyze operational contract tenders for cost, hours, schedule of rates, etc.
  • Generate ad hoc reports and analysis as requested by Asset Management

Is This You?

  • Education in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • Professional qualifications (CA / CPA) are a plus
  • Proven experience in property industry with strong analytical skills
  • Previous exposure to retail property accounting is advantageous
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to adapt to changing environments and manage ambiguity
  • Strong prioritization skills to meet tight deadlines
  • Advanced Excel proficiency and IT systems knowledge
