About the Role

  • The successful applicant will provide Administration support to doctors, clinical staff and patients at Scone Hospital within the General, Maternity and Emergency Wards.
  • You will have the ability to plan, prioritise and organise work activities to achieve work outcomes with a high attention to detail with a very high level of accuracy when working with a range of computer systems and processes.
  • You will have excellent listening, and questioning skills applied to a customer service environment with the ability to work independently and as a team member to achieve quality service outcomes.

Where you'll be working

  • Scott Memorial Hospital provides care for the community of Scone and surrounding districts.
  • It offers a range of services including 24hour emergency care, surgical including orthopaedics, endoscopy, medical, obstetric, antenatal clinics, telehealth, paediatric, palliative care, outpatient clinics, xray as well as a rural rehabilitation program, and acute and agerelated care services.
  • Scone, known as the horse capital of Australia, is a historic town located in the Upper Hunter region of New South Wales.
  • Scone is one of the biggest horsebreeding regions in the world, and is home to dozens of studs and worldclass thoroughbred breeders.
  • Scone is located approximately a 2hour drive from Newcastle, with scenic train trips to Scone running regularly via Newcastle and Maitland.
