About the Opportunity

To provide assistance to the Head of Events in effectively leading and managing the Melbourne events teams to meet or exceed business objectives. We connect our clients' target audience with their business or strategic message by organizing innovative events, engaging incentive programs, and impactful branding and communications. Our goal is to create memorable experiences for the audience, whether in-person or virtually, by captivating their emotions and intellect to enhance their involvement.

What you will be doing:

  • Be fully responsible for the projects under your supervision, collaborating with the Head of Events, Sales Team, and clients to ensure a comprehensive understanding of the event requirements and budget to deliver creative and logistically feasible solutions.
  • Demonstrate the ability to nurture and maintain existing client relationships to generate consistent and repeat business opportunities.
  • Assist in managing workflow and resources across all projects and within the broader Events team.
  • Provide guidance and training to team members on FCM Meeting & Events guidelines, systems, processes, and platforms.


You'll be an ideal fit for this role if you can demonstrate:

  • Holder of a degree, preferably in Project or Event Management.
  • A minimum of 8 years of proven experience in project management within the event management and production sector.
  • A track record of effective leadership, as well as experience in coaching and supporting team members.
  • Familiarity with key suppliers and relevant MICE products and destinations.
  • Understanding of project management principles, guidelines, and procedures.
  • Demonstrated expertise in project management within the event management and production sector.
