As a Principal Market Pricing Analyst, you will be responsible for creating and implementing onshore and or offshore pricing strategies, ensuring prices are optimised in accordance with commercial targets and market conditions.

Working with the sales and network teams, the Market Pricing Analyst will lead a close collaboration loop that analyses system and people driven data insights to continuously optimise pricing for Qantas and Partner Carrier combination lanes in market.

Together with your peers in the Pricing Design, Distribution and Integrity function, you will ensure the proposed pricing is designed for commercial and system success with the highest level of accuracy each time.

You'll have

  • 3+ years' experience in a commercial role within the Airline or Freight industry
  • Demonstrated commercial awareness with a clear understanding of the drivers affecting the business.
  • Advanced excel and Microsoft office skills
  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
  • Experience in building business cases, strategies and commercial proposals
  • Experience in data analysis and presentation of the related insights
  • Highly motivated selfstarter, able to thrive within to a fastpaced, quickly changing and often ambiguous environment with mínimal supervision
  • Experience prioritising multiple tasks and demonstrated ability to deliver accurately on time
  • Demonstrated attention to detail, accuracy and discrete handling of sensitive information
  • Desire to be a part of a winning team with a matching work ethic and energy level
  • Strong interpersonal influencing skills with a focus on collaboration, cooperation and communication with people from many varied backgrounds
  • Ability to work in a high performance team environment
  • Time management and organisational abilities
  • Demonstrated passion for the aviation / freight / travel industry
