We are looking for enthusiastic and experienced multilingual Support Workers (Mandarin speaking), to join our team to provide community support Home Care Packages.

You will be very well supported in this important, front-line role.

You will have:

  • A strong desire to provide quality client service and the ability to build rapport with clients;
  • Flexibility and the ability to be adaptive
  • Ability to provide assistance with a range of tasks including transport, light housework, meal preparation and personal care (if qualified)
  • A highly professional attitude and able to act in a compassionate, nonjudgmental manner
  • Certificate 111 Individual Support /Aged Care preferable or willingness to obtain
  • A current police check less than 3 months old or willingness to undertake one with Annecto
  • A current First Aid (with 6 months to run) and CPR Qualifications (with 3 months to run) or willingness to complete prior to employment
  • A current driver's license and your own transport vehicle with comprehensive insurance
  • A smart phone or tablet
  • A current Working with Vulnerable People Card or willingness to obtain one
  • Work rights to work in Australia
  • Fully Covid Immunized including Booster
  • We are currently seeking a support worker who is fluent in Mandarin

It would be great if you had:

  • Similar experience in a similar organisation
  • Ability to speak a community language Mandarin would be highly regarded
