About the Role
_ This is a casual role with shifts in the morning, afternoon and sleep overs. This role will be based within our Residential homes in South West Sydney._
- Provide information, crisis support, advocacy and referral services for young people and their families
- Provide a safe, 'homelike', healthy physical environment and ensure that they physical and practical needs are of the young people are met
- Nurture and build rapport with the young person to ensure their social and emotional needs are met and implement therapeutic and behavioural programs as identified
- Develop and implement case plans that target the young person and their families for restoration
About You
- Two years experience working with vulnerable, at risk young people
- Demonstrated understanding of the child protection legislation and experience working within the legislation
- Demonstrated understanding of the issues impacting homeless young people and their families
- Demonstrated experience working with young people with challenging behaviours
- Ability to work on 24/7 rotating roster
- Drivers licence
