Credit Strategy team supports Bankwest's Home Buying team through development of credit strategy and maintenance, monitoring and proactive management of credit settings including valuations.

The team ensures that strategies not only manage risk but work effectively across operational areas.

We work with external partners including our mortgage insurer, credit bureaus and valuation partners to ensure the coverage, quality, and security of the mortgage book.

This team plays a critical part in managing retail Mortgages to ensure the appropriate risk/return for the portfolio.

**On a day to day basis, you'll: - Provide insights to business and technical stakeholders on market performance and strategy effectiveness to support effective decision making.

  • Manage daytoday requests from Lenders and Brokers relating to valuations.
  • Work closely with colleagues in the broader credit risk and analytics community, as well as our valuation partners to understand the current risk, technology and market trends.
  • Work collaboratively as part of a crossfunctional team to deliver quality outcomes for customers.
  • Present insights and recommendations to both technical and business stakeholders

  • Experience using data analysis to provide insight and drive strategic decision making.
  • Experience analysing process and policy and continuous improvement principles.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to explain complex scenarios to various d audiences.
  • Strong change management skills and ability to engage key stakeholders to deliver key projects and initiatives.
  • Strong problemsolving skills.
