The Role

Due to our continued growth, we are seeking a HVAC Installation Technician to join our team, operating throughout Launceston and the Northwest Coast. Duties will involve the Installation of various HVAC plant and equipment with a variety of our well-known customers.

Essential to this role is a good mechanical and/or Refrigeration understanding plus communication skills. Qualified technicians in the HVAC and refrigeration fields are most welcome to apply.

We would love to hear from 4th year HVAC or Refrigeration apprentices currently seeking employment or simply looking to further update their skill set with the wide variety of projects Airmaster have to offer. We would also strongly consider sanitary/water plumbers who would like to extend their skill set into mechanical plumbing and fabrication.

• A strong knowledge of building mechanical installation services
• Knowledge of built-up central plant and chilled water systems
• Coordination and supervision of trades on site
• Have a diverse range of skills on a variety of refrigeration and hydronic plant equipment
• The right applicant will have a focus on sustainability
• Ability to work unsupervised in a team environment
• Demonstrate fault finding abilities and present solutions
• Reliable, self-motivated, and well presented
• Clear verbal and written communication - word processing and spreadsheet applications
• Willing to undergo a police and medical check
• Available to work some overtime
• Strong commitment to safe work practices is essential
• A police background check will be required
• A flu vaccination and COVID vaccination will also be required
