As a Senior Auto Technician, your role is to inspect vehicles using specialist tools to diagnose and repair faults. You will work closely with other technicians to identify, diagnose, and fix vehicle issues, as well as schedule maintenance and repairs. Additionally, you will assist the Workshop Manager in the workshop or office as required.

Job Responsibilities:
• Support the Workshop Manager in managing the workshop and work in the office when needed.
• Listen effectively to customer vehicle complaints, inspect, detect, and diagnose faults.
• Provide technical support, diagnostic expertise, and system expertise to team members, supervising as required.
• Dismantle and remove engine assemblies, transmissions, steering mechanisms, and other components, checking parts.
• Repair and replace worn and defective parts, reassembling mechanical components.
Experience and Qualifications:
• Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology (AUR30616).
• Minimum 5 years of qualified experience.
• Current valid Australian Driver's license.
• Knowledge of methods, techniques, parts, tools, and materials used in the maintenance and repair of vehicles.
• Experience and competence in using computerized diagnostic equipment.
• Familiarity with complex electronic control systems.
