Part of a group - they have been established over 100 years ago and is a small animal, primary care practice in Staffordshire & WarwickshireTeam: As a practice, they are really proud of their closely-knit, supportive team.

The majority of whom have 5 – 20 years of service They are all motivated individuals who are passionate about high standards and the pets in their care.

They are a 9 Veterinary Surgeon team with a certificate holder in Ophthalmology.
Investing in their associates and professional development is important to them and is actively encouraged there.
Three Vet Surgeons within the team are also working towards certificates including in Surgery and emergency and client care (ECC)

Services:

They see a varied caseload of routine and more advanced primary care services including orthopedic surgery, laparoscopic spay and laparoscopic biopsy, soft tissue surgery, eye, heart, and skin treatments, arthritis management, and cancer treatment.

They also offer referral services in ophthalmology

Facilities :
Thei r two practices are light and spacious and have a great range of equipment available including; Digital x-ray, ultrasound at both sites, large and small endoscope, electrocautery, cryotherapy, ophthalmic loops, dental equipment, orthopaedic air-powered tools, slit lamp, tono pens & more

Role:
They are looking for a caring, compassionate, and enthusiastic Veterinary Surgeon required to join their team.
They can accommodate a preference of consult only, surgical bias, and different interests.
They are able to offer a flexible rota; split shifts, school hours, earlies, lates, or full days.

Duties:
Your day-to-day role would include a mixture of routine, advanced, and ECC cases.
Depending on your area of interest you would likely see at least 1 day of surgery per week.

They often have regular Vet meetings, and you will have the chance to support or share clinical knowledge/ discuss cases.

Case continuity is important to them, where possible and they pride themselves on building a great rapport with their clients.


Skills/Exp:

The ideal candidate for this role would be a surgeon who feels comfortable with all first-opinion duties and enjoys being an all-around GP Vet.

They may be able to support a surgeon with more advanced procedures if you feel comfortable with all routine first opinion duties.
