To learn more about us, click on the video Centacare Catholic Family Services - Our Story The Role Centacare has a temporary 9-month full-time fixed-term opportunity (maternity cover) available for an Accounts Payable role at our Adelaide head office.

This position reports to the Financial Controller and is part of a supportive, close-knit finance team.

In this role, you will liaise with both internal and external stakeholders to provide financial and administrative support, ensuring the efficient, timely, and accurate processing of accounts payable tasks.

Key responsibilities include processing EFT payment runs and invoices, reconciling accounts, reporting, and maintaining the fixed asset register.
Other responsibilities Maintain creditors' accounts using Technology One Financials software.
Review and validate credit card purchases and invoices for accuracy.
Preparation of general journal entries for cost allocation.
Undertake balance sheet reconciliations.

Field queries and communications from creditors About you You are an experienced accounts payable officer with a solid background in managing financial tasks.

While experience in the non-profit sector is a plus, it's not a requirement—we value your skills and expertise above all.

You possess strong communication and interpersonal skills.
A go-getter by nature, you excel both in team environments and autonomously.

Qualifications & Experience:
Demonstrated previous experience in an Accounts Payable role.

Excellent Microsoft Excels skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Excellent time management and organisation skills Working knowledge of Technology One Financials (desirable)Previous experience working in non – profit sector (desirable)For this role, the following documents must be submitted before receiving a formal offer of employment with Centacare.
