About the Opportunity
In 2024 Monash Health will offer a limited amount of part time HMO General Positions. The positions are located at Psychiatry, Dandenong Hospital and Casey Hospital Emergency Department. The successful applicants will be offered a 0.5EFT contract (38 hours per fortnight).

You should be committed to delivering exceptional care and outstanding outcomes for our patients.

About the General Program


The General Stream incorporates a large variety of rotations, including Emergency Medicine, General Medicine, Paediatrics and many other Medical Specialty & Surgical rotations.

You can access Paediatric rotations in a ward setting, in the Paediatric Emergency or in either of our other two emergency departments - both accredited for Paediatrics for GP training.

Our dedicated General Stream Manager advocates and supports our Junior Doctors who in turn deliver exceptional care and outstanding outcomes for our patients.

What you need:

  • Must hold or be eligible for AHPRA Medical Registration
  • Applicants must meet a minimum AHPRA Supervision level of 2 to be considered for this role
  • Be eligible to hold a Victorian Employee Working with Children's Check


 Primary Medical Degree
  • MBBS
  • Previous experience and completion of Intern
