Perhaps you are already enrolled and working towards an approved course of tertiary studies that will provide a Building Surveyor degree qualification.

Or possibly you're wanting to explore this career but haven't take that first step towards study.

Either way we'd love to hear how we can help you achieve it. We are committed to providing you with on-the-job learning to develop the skills and knowledge you need.

We will support you to gain your qualification, and give you hands-on opportunities to assist in the assessment, approval, inspection and certification of building development.

You need an enquiring mind, a commitment to learning, and the drive to complete the required course work. You have sound analytical skills and can effectively manage and organise your time. A confident communicator, you have solid written and verbal communication skills. A current 'C' class driver's licence is essential for this role.

  • Sound negotiation, decision making and analytical skills
  • Sound time management and organisational skills
  • Sound interpersonal skills
  • Working knowledge of building regulations, codes, standards and relevant local laws
  • Progress towards a recognised building industry qualification appropriate under the _Building Services (Registration) Act 2011_ (WA), Building Services (Registration) Regulations 2011 or equivalent, or a commitment to undertake study towards a building industry qualification
We are offering a gross salary of $68,168 and:

  • 11% superannuation with the option to co-contribute up to a further 5%
  • A variety of health and wellbeing programs including a physical health reimbursement subsidy payment of up to $150 per annum, free flu vaccinations, free skin cancer checks, mental health programs and Employee Assistance Provider (EAP) services
  • Flexible working arrangements, including rostered days off and two additional paid days of absence per annum
  • Salary packaging opportunities for motor vehicles, etc.
