The Aviation Capability Group is experiencing significant growth and this role represents an opportunity for an experienced engineering manager to lead the QPS Aviation Capability Group's Rotary Wing Engineering operations.

Your Key Accountabilities will include:

  • Ensure all aircraft maintenance carried out has been authorised by the registered operator and ensure maintenance activities are carried out in accordance with procedures and control manuals as specified by CASA when operating under both an Air Operator Certificate and a Certificate of Approval. Ensure all engineering employees carry out all maintenance activities in accordance with CASA regulatory requirements and approved internal procedures. Control, organise, plan and supervise all engineering activities including those procedures and requirements specified in the Maintenance Control Manuals, Procedures Manuals and System of Maintenance. Manage all activities associated with tooling, procurement, records management and training in accordance with government processes and CASA requirements. Maintain an engineering budget in consultation with the Head of Engineering, Aviation Operations and in consultation with the registered operator. Ensure open lines of communication with the Head of Airworthiness, Maintenance Controller and operational staff to effectively plan and deliver scheduled and unscheduled maintenance activities.
