Auxiliary Operative

A tier-1 client, (a NSW critical and nationally recognised, infrastructure leader), is beefing up its security operations response team. Our challenge is to find and attract the very best qualified and experienced Security Operatives.

We need two (2) security professionals to join our clients elite in-house managed security operations team.

About The Role

These auxiliary positions are only for serious and motivated security professionals who appreciate being respected and valued for their professionalism and commitment to team.

The roles will report directly to a senior member of the security operations team for duties which include:

• Static Guarding from time to time at high security sites
• Mobile patrols of critical; infrastructure sites
• Attending and triaging a wide range of security incidents, including work with response agencies in emergency situations
• Other security operations duties as required

Where is it happening and when

• The roles are based out of Parramatta CBD
• Duties are based on a rotating twelvehour roster
• Security operations provide 24/7 security coverage
• The clients operating area includes the wider Sydney Metropolitan area from Mt Victoria in the west, down to the Illawarra and up into the Hawkesbury

Our client:

• Remunerates these roles above the market
• Offers 80 hours per fortnight
• Offers the opportunity for overtime where it arises
• Provides all required training on full pay
• Ensures duties amongst the team are fairly apportioned and rostered
• Provides modern patrol and response vehicles, PPE and equipment required
• Is committed to providing a safe workplace with training and support to ensure it happens
• Be appropriately licensed under the Security Industry Act (NSW) 199
• Have at least five years applicable experience
• Have a clean driving record
• Be physically fit and able to undertake field duties
• Be prepared to work alone and sometimes in harsh weather conditions
• Be prepared to work a roster which provides 24/7 coverage
• Enjoy using technology
• Welcome the opportunity for overtime when it arises

Security Patrol: 5 years (preferred)
