About the Hotel - W Melbourne
W Melbourne is the rebel between the streets, sitting in the heart of the Melbourne CBD on the iconic Flinders Lane, the luxury hotel takes its design cues from Australia's cultural capital and providing the back-lane entrance keys to what's New/Next in the city. Extending the laneway culture inside, 294 bold rooms and suites peel back the layers and revel in the city's history. There are five electric and daring bars and restaurants within the hotel, plus over 800 square metres of ultra-modern event space. W Melbourne is set to be the place to see and be seen in.

Experience in a dynamic restaurant/Bar setting is highly valued. A passion for mixology artistry and a desire to innovate in the bar. Background in high-end restaurant or bar is advantageous. A proactive and upbeat demeanor that inspires excellence. Keen to take on new challenges and grow within your career. A current Victorian RSA is essential for your role. Embody a polished professionalism with an audacious approach to creativity; a passionate, and a playful spirit that enriches our environment while creating memorable guest experiences.About the Role
Set up, stock, and maintain work areas. Ensure thorough understanding menu and special offerings including dietary. Engage guests in conversation regarding their stay, property services, and venue/hotel offerings. Inspect cleanliness and presentation of china, glass, and silver before use. Complete closing duties: store reusable goods, break down goods, clean equipment and areas, return equipment to proper locations, lock refrigerators, restock items, turn off lights, lock doors, and complete daily cleaning checklist. Maintain cleanliness of work areas throughout the day, practicing clean-as-you-go procedures. Follow all company safety and security policies and procedures. Welcome and acknowledge guests according to company standards. Use clear and professional language when speaking with others. Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others. Assist follow talent to ensure proper coverage and prompt guest service Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards.
