Double Take Projections is a top projection mapping agency specialized in crafting extraordinary experiences for events, exhibitions, and multimedia installations. We blend advanced technology with creative skills to turn ordinary spaces into breathtaking visual sceneries.

Job Description:

We need a skilled Motion Graphic Designer to help us create mesmerizing visual projection experiences that will leave a long-lasting impact on our clients and their audiences.

Based in our creative team in Edinburgh, you will play a key role in conceptualizing, designing, and executing dynamic projection mapping projects across different scales and environments.


Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop motion graphics based on client briefs and project goals.
  • Create captivating 2D/3D visuals optimized for projection mapping.
  • Use software like Adobe After Effects and Cinema 4D to produce high-quality motion graphics.
  • Collaborate with projection mapping technicians to seamlessly integrate motion graphics into setups.
  • Stay updated on the latest trends and technologies in motion design and projection mapping, incorporating new tools and methods into your work as needed.
  • Support with additional tasks as required.

Essential Requirements:

  • Proficiency in Adobe After Effects and Cinema 4D, along with good knowledge of other Adobe programs.
  • Prior experience in a motion design role.
  • A diverse portfolio showcasing expertise in 2D and 3D motion graphics, with a strong grasp of design principles.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to challenges.
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.

Desirable Requirements:

  • Experience with projection mapping techniques.
  • Knowledge of incorporating audio into motion graphics.

Job Details:

The position is full-time (9:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday to Friday with potential for overtime) and based in our office in Leith, Edinburgh.
