The role


We are currently seeking Debating coaches with a strong background in Debating and/or Public Speaking to join our Language Arts team.

You may be studying or teaching Law, Communications, English, Drama or History. As a coach you will provide age-appropriate lessons in accordance with the Language Arts program at Pymble.

The role of the coach is to encourage our students to hone skills and gain confidence. As a coach you will assist and guide our students with preparation for competitions and personal projects. You will be expected to set high expectations and provide support.


The Language Arts program runs across the school week, with shifts in the afternoons from 3.30pm as well as some Saturday shifts.

  • Previous experience in debating, law, media, communications, public speaking or similar
  • The ability to engage, communicate and encourage students. Pre service teachers, please apply
