We are searching for a passionate Occupational Therapist or Physiotherapist with well-developed neurological upper limb management skills, a strong background in rehabilitation and neurophysiology and a passion for driving best practice patient care in a bustling public health setting. You will join the outpatient stream to ensure safe and effective evidence based clinical care for patients and their families. This position is based in the Upper Limb Program (ULP) which provides excellent clinical care to patients with spinal cord and peripheral nerve injuries and neurological conditions affecting their upper limb function.

As a grade 2 clinician, a typical day will see you:

  • Deliver excellent clinical care: You will complete person-centred assessments, intervention and complex discharge planning to achieve positive patient outcomes in collaboration with a multi-disciplinary team.
  • Participate in quality supervision and training: You will receive routine clinical supervision and have access to quality teaching from experienced staff. You will be supported to deliver clinical supervision and training to grade 1 OT staff.
  • Contribute to a positive workplace culture that prioritises wellbeing and personal growth
  • Contribute to continuous improvement: Collaborate on research, quality improvement or clinical education initiatives your service area, under the guidance of a leadership team that pushes boundaries to deliver exceptional patient care.
