About the role

This is a 2 year fixed term opportunity located in Brisbane CBD.

The G&FE division is responsible for providing considered strategic advice to the Stanwell Executive Leadership Team (ELT) and Board on a regular basis and as such high levels of trust must be cultivated to maintain and enhance credibility and secure a mandate within the business to deliver initiatives.

The Process & Procedures Analyst provides specialist services for effective mapping, development and documentation of project processes, guides and procedures to enable consistent and best practice project development and delivery. This role will focus on the continual development and improvement of project-based tools, templates and systems aligning with the project management framework, providing direction, guidance and training where applicable throughout G&FE

Key activities include:

  • Process/Procedure Development
    • provide specialist services to effectively analyse, map, develop and document project processes, guides and procedures enabling consistent and best practice project development and delivery.
    • focus on document usability and readability through high-quality content, structure, and formatting while paying high attention to detail.
  • Support Delivery - drive the use, ongoing development and improvement of project-based tools, templates and systems aligning with the project management framework to support the delivery of the G&FE portfolio of projects.
  • Advice – provision of advice and training/guidance to project teams, managers/directors, sponsors and other key stakeholders on project processes to gain maximum benefits on project and program administration / controls.
  • Collaboration – consultation and collaboration with G&FE project teams and subject matter experts across Stanwell to obtain relevant, quality and accurate input to the development of products.

About you

  • Experience in a similar role/s implementing and continuously reviewing systems, procedures and processes in a project-based support function.
  • Experience operating in a Project or Portfolio Management Office environment with a large portfolio of Major Projects.
  • Excellent working knowledge of project management tools, scheduling and cost control software, technology (e.g. Microsoft Suite, Primavera, Enterprise Systems) and project management framework compliance.
  • Demonstrated working knowledge of project management processes based on the "Project Management Body of Knowledge" (PMBOK) Guidelines, Prince 2 or other similar standards.
