Our mission is to grow together and make disciples of Christ.

The Young People and Families minister will be essential to this mission by leading the congregation to develop a high-quality, engaging, sustainable, innovative ministry for and with young people and their families.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Champion within the congregation, ministry to young people and their families, consistent with the mission of the congregation
  • Facilitate opportunities for faith formation and discipleship for young people
  • Oversee and support all programs for young people, including the provision of handson leadership
  • Develop and support leaders
  • Preach, lead worship and administer the sacraments.
Ipswich Uniting has well-developed programs where we engage with approximately 75 children and youth from 40 families each week. We also want to grow our ministry with young adults.
