It's an ideal moment to explore what NAB has to offer as a Senior Analyst Engineer in the NAB Business and Private Banking Group.

The Position

The primary objective is to enhance HICAPS' customer offering by providing a versatile claim payment solution to cater to a wide array of schemes, providers, partners, and patients.

Our target solution is a comprehensive claiming and payments platform interconnected with major health payment entities.

The Senior Engineer will collaborate with the Technology team to introduce new features and functionalities effectively, while ensuring the sustainability and reliability of existing systems by emphasizing quality and test automation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Participate in the entire software delivery cycle, from concept to implementation, documentation, deployment, and support of solutions in production.
  • Provide technical mentorship and direction to junior team members.
  • A Senior Engineer consistently delivers work that:
    • Aligns with product requirements
    • Demonstrates high quality
    • Is delivered promptly based on product priorities
  • Ensure adequate testing for new features and modifications to existing features.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to streamline delivery processes, following a MVP approach for each feature.
  • Ensure solutions are developed within set budgets and timelines, adhering to company standards for security and quality.

Key Skills and Experience

  • Demonstrated expertise in message-based distributed systems, SOA & Microservices
  • Proficiency in applying DDD principles
  • Ability to design resilient platforms scaling efficiently
  • Familiarity with writing quality code, source control, continuous integration, and delivery
  • Embrace test automation, DevOps, and SRE as part of team culture
  • Experience in Product-focused companies is highly valued
  • Preferred:
    • Experience with AWS & Docker
    • Experience with NServiceBus or similar technologies
    • Experience with GraphQL & React
    • Experience with Elasticsearch
    • Proficiency in developing with _
