The opportunity:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Superintendent E&I to join the ICE Engineering team at Copper South Australia. This is a FIFO position.

The Superintendent will have overall responsibility for onsite employee and project performance, including meeting set project budgets, supporting project delivery teams in achieving customers' expectations, understanding, and delivering to specifications, scope of work and timing.

Additionally, the Superintendent will guarantee that all activities conducted by ICE adhere to stringent safety protocols mandated by the relevant OHS/WHS Legislation, Customer OHS policies and procedures, and ICE OHS policies and procedures.

Central to this position is a thorough grasp of customer-driven changes in project scope and timelines, coupled with adept contract management and administration skills, including the proficient handling and negotiation of variations with clients.

The successful applicant will have:

• Electrical Trade or Engineering Degree
• White Card.
• Proficient in the use of PC Based MS Office products such as Word and Excel.
• Be fit and able to complete a full medical.

Preferred experience:

• Proficient in overseeing both office and on-site personnel.
• Experience in supervising construction projects, particularly within an Electrical environment.
• Leadership experience with teams exceeding 20 members.

ICE has 2 distinct operational teams;

– The development of major Greenfield and Brownfield projects

– The development of Brownfield projects / shutdowns for our existing clients

The company has an office, workshop and warehouse facility at Wingfield in Adelaide and a similar premises in Whyalla and Roxby Downs, South Australia. In 2011 we opened our Perth office in Western Australia.

All staff are qualified and licensed to perform their duties safely and effectively, all trades are supervised with experienced heavy industry supervisors. We currently employ in excess of 120 staff working across Australia.
