LifeHealthcare is a leading independent distributor of high-end medical devices in Australia and New Zealand.

Based at Macquarie Park, you will be part of our fun and collaborative Finance team.

You will report to the Payroll Manager and provide efficient support in the processing payments to our employees whilst ensuring compliance with all relative legislation.

You'll be responsible for:

  • All activities in the payroll function, including:
  • Salaries are paid accurately and on time as per the EBA, Award, Employment Contracts and other legislative requirements
  • Interpreting awards/agreements/contracts
  • Preparing, balancing and reconciling payroll tax, PAYG tax and FBT, superannuation and payment summaries
  • Maintaining leave records
  • Maintaining overtime reports
  • Undertaking statutory reporting
  • Resolving queries relating to payroll across the organisation
  • Building quality relationships with our Finance and HR teams
  • Delivering highquality work that improves the employee experience and services

And to be successful we think you'll need:

  • Experience in Payroll positions within a medium to large size business within Australia (essential) and New Zealand (desirable)
  • Understanding of Payroll and Human Resource Information Systems
  • Knowledge of legislation relating to Industrial Awards/Enterprise Agreements, PAYG, FBT, payroll tax and EEO principles
  • Strong organisational and communication skills, the ability to use initiative, be adaptable and handle pressure in an environment driven by deadlines
