We are looking for a Senior Business Analyst to join our team preferably on a permanent basis and work across some incredible projects.


Essential RequirementsExtensive experience working as a Senior BA preferably in in digital transformation projectsStrong process mapping skills and ability to analyze current and future states.

Familiarity with digital reporting systems and data collection processes.
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
Ability to develop and present work plans, options papers, risk assessments, and comprehensive requirements documents.

Nice to have:

Understanding of the commercial rock lobster fishery and relevant legislation (e.g., Living Marine Resources Management Act 1995, Fisheries Rules).Knowledge of digital solutions for catch and effort reporting in the fisheries sector.

Experience with digital reporting systems like Tas eFish.
Ability to evaluate and integrate digital options and methodologies, including VMS technology.

Job DescriptionConduct current and future state analysis, including process mapping in line with applicable legislation.
Perform key stakeholder interviews and assess digital options and methodologies.
Evaluate the potential integration of digital reporting systems and VMS technology.
Develop a comprehensive business requirements specification for a proposed DCER solution.
Conduct a risk assessment and present conclusions and recommendations to the FDTP Steering Committee
