About the company
Our client is large national manufacturing organisation with a Brisbane head office.

They are in a transformation phase with new Safety leadership and a strong focus on safety outcomes across the business.

The expansion of the safety team includes this newly created Safety Administration role to round out and support the team and national safety initiatives.


About the role


This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Administrator to join the Health, Safety and Wellbeing team in this newly created role.

Reporting to the National Safety and Wellbeing Manager you will be a key support with responsibility for maintaining data integrity and reporting.

You will assist in the ensuring there is increased transparency and communication within the team, and between divisions.

  • Managing various safety related spreadsheets.
  • Accurate filing of important documentation.
  • Review and update safety posters nationally.
  • Recording and updating the safety plan for leader walks and inspections.
  • Work with key departments to ensure open communication and support of safety policies and procedures and return to work commitments.
  • Provide feedback on WHS reporting requirements.
  • Involvement in any adhoc safety projects

About you


It's expected that you will have worked in a busy and fast environment where you will have had competing priorities demonstrating your refined time management skills.

You will be able to demonstrate strong accuracy and attention to detail skills.

As you will be working with sensitive data, it's imperative that you have the highest level of integrity and confidentiality.

To hit the ground running you will ideally have advanced excels skills utilising PivotTables, macros and/or add-ins.

A keen interest in Safety would be a great cultural fit for the team and pave way for a Safety career path for you It would be great if you had a Certificate IV in WHS but it's not essential for this role.

Essentially, we are looking for a self-starter who is friendly, approachable and has a strong work ethic.

You will demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills and can build effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
