As a representative of these employers, Brismark is currently searching for an energetic and motivated person to fill a Quality Assurance Manager role for a successful and respected Wholesale business.

This is a
full time role. Roster is
Monday to Friday, starting between 5am and 7am each day.

The duties include:
- management of audit compliance to both customer and legislative requirements (HACCP, HARPS, SQF, SEDEX, Dept Agriculture Export Compliance)
- maintain a program of internal audits, calibrations, produce testing and an Approved Supplier Program
- delivering training to staff in GMP, Food Safety, WHS and production activities (i.e. product grading)
- communication with external stakeholders including trade partners, suppliers and customers

The successful applicant must:

  • Have good time management skills and the ability to multitask
  • Be physically fit, able to do manual work as this is a "hands on" role
  • Have good attention to detail
  • Possess excellent communication skills, including experience with Microsoft Office
  • Hold a
    current drivers licence with own transport
  • Be well presented, reliable, enjoy working as part of a team and be able to work unsupervised
  • Have previous experience in a quality control position, especially in fruit and vegetables and/or food export
  • Possess a
    forklift licence

Salary:
From $75,000.00 per year

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday
  • Morning shift
  • Weekend availability

Experience:

Fresh Produce: 2 years (preferred)
Quality Control: 2 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

  • Forklift Licence (preferred)
  • Driver's Licence (preferred)

Work Authorisation:

  • Australia (required)
