  • Following a recent announcement by the Australian Government to investigate the acquisition of UH60M Black Hawk helicopters from the US Government, Lockheed Martin Australia is looking to establish a core team of experienced military Rotary Wing professionals to support the potential procurement and sustainment activities. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Undertake and review Technical Information and processing TIR in Emerald
  • Coordinate and investigate Occurrence Reports in collaboration with EMU
  • Ensure conversion of US Army safety messages and OEM service bulletins into ADF format that is compatible with CAMM2 (i.e. STI)
  • Undertake and solicit technical advice from OEMs and US Army
  • Analyse and Investigate Defect Reports, manage Condition Monitoring
  • Analyse and review externallyapproved repairs and conversion of repair instructions into ADF format that is compatible with CAMM2 (i.e. Deviation Letter)
  • Contribute to and collaborate with MRD Practitioners on changes to scheduled maintenance requirements, the aircraft build structure and ACRN set
  • Guide and collaborate with logistics team on alternative sources of supply for certain items
  • Assist Design Engineers with Supplies Acceptance of externally approved designs
  • Provide advice on changes to GSE and S&TE and assistance with ALSE, Role Equipment and PED clearances

About you:

  • You will have significant experience in aviation maintenance in a similar role within defence. As a self starter who is motivated and results driven, you will also ideally hold a Cert IV or above in a relevant discipline (Aeroskills
  • Mechanical) from a recognised institution.

To be successful in this role you will also have:

  • CAMM2 experience
  • Strong computer literacy with an ability to produce, analyse, and interpret complex reports and information
  • Significant proven experience in a similar role
Experience in a Defence System Program Office environment is also highly desirable.

  • Applicants are required to be Australian Citizens and hold a current or reinstatable NV1 Defence Security Clearance or be eligible to gain this.
  • The location of the role will be Victoria Barracks, Queensland.
