Head of Commercial and Pricing.


Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, the Head of Commercial & Pricing will provide strategic leadership to assist TasWater achieve optimum financial performance by leading a range of strategic initiatives to maximise return from a diverse range of internal and external commercial levers and opportunities.

You will own and implement pricing frameworks across regulated and non-regulated service offerings, be responsible for the delivery of key internal and external business performance reporting, while also leading the coordination and development of TasWater's price and service plans.

Building and leading a high performing team who champion commercial acumen across the organisation, you will lead the investigation of new revenue commercial opportunities and productivity gains.

Providing commercial advice and analysis to support the CFO and key internal stakeholders, you will deliver fair and efficient prices for our diverse customer base which support economic growth and protect the long-term interests of customers.


To be successful in this role, you will be a commercial leader who is able to demonstrate success in, and communicate within large, complex organisations.

You will have proven leadership experience in multi-disciplinary teams, with substantial depth and range of commercial experience at a senior management level.

You will have a track record in displaying high level financial expertise and commercial acumen, including financial analysis.

You will have highly developed interpersonal and communication skills and be able to develop and present material on complex matters to a wide range of audiences.

Knowledge and experience in working in a regulatory environment and regulatory requirements is integral to the ongoing prosperity of this role.
