About the role


Reporting directly to the IT Innovation Lead, the Automation Analyst is responsible for working with business stakeholders to optimise processes, and design and build digital solutions to improve the customer and employee experience.

These solutions may include web and integration technologies as well as commercial off the shelf and Robotic Process Automation (RPA).

Additionally, the role will support the objectives of the IT Innovation team by providing advice and training to the business on TUH best practice business process improvement.

The key responsibilities of the role include but are not limited to:
  • Support the identification processes which could benefit from low code development and automations, Application Programming Interface (API), off the shelf solutions, RPA integration or other technical solutions
  • Engage with process owners to develop, and implement technical solutions for processes
  • Work with technology vendors in the development, testing, and continuous improvement of our web, app and portal, and in the implementation of a low code integration platform

About you
***- Sound technical knowledge and experience of digital technologies and low code development tools

  • Ability to prioritise and manage work independently to deliver an agreed outcome within expected timeframes
  • Experience and understanding of devops and the associated tools and processes for development and version control
  • Advanced stakeholder engagement skills
  • Ability to lead/facilitate meetings
  • Ability to work autonomously with mínimal direction as well as part of a project team
  • Sound ability to analyse, interpret and document business needs, and develop appropriate technical solutions
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to respond to pressure and challenges, overcoming barriers to progress
  • Demonstrated curiosity and desire to seek opportunities to learn and develop
  • Monitoring industry trends including AI, IQ, automation.
  • Welldeveloped technical specification writing/documentation skills
  • Experience with, or understanding of, Machine Learning and Artificial intelligence will be highly regarded
  • Work experience in, and/or understanding of a health fund or general insurance would be beneficial.
