Credibility, integrity, strong relationships and collaboration will be essential, along with the ability to represent a broad cohort, advocate for the needs and interests of members, upholding the principles, values and ethos that underpin Professionals Australia.
It is essential to build sustainable and respectful relationships with members through listening, connecting, learning and meaningful engagement, as well as the ongoing delivery of membership value including advisory, professional development, conferences, content, projects and opportunities for innovation, networking, mentoring and continuous learning.
To be successful, you will need proven experience in:Board Governance, reporting, compliance, financial management and risk mitigation.Leading advocacy, shaping public policy and engaging in political discourse to amplify members' interests and drive positive change.
Driving recruitment and retention strategies to expand membership base, ensuring continued growth, while upholding union values and leveraging insights from for-purpose industry experience.
Excellent communication skills and ability to engage, influence and unite diverse stakeholders.Ability to develop credibility with members, staff, and Board, serving as an enthusiastic advocate for their union and its members.
Influential leadership and development of a high-performing team to foster a culture of accountability and integrity.Change management, continuous improvement and innovation, ensuring the organisation remains at the forefront of industry trends and best practices, plus delivery of projects including digital platforms.
